001 :: Mission Statement

I, JBA, solemnly swear provide you, whoever you may be, with things I consider relevant in the music, design, and art world to the best of my knowledge and ability. I will share with you what music I am listening to, what new bands are around that I deem worth the time of day as well as where you can see them live, the best places I find to pass my time throughout my duration in this god-forsaken city as well as the places you should never go, cause they suck. There will be art(ists) that I dig, cool events around Brooklyn or lower Manhattan that I will strongly suggest to you; and of course, I will shamelessly self-promote and promote for my friends at every chance I get. Whether or not you will deem my blog worth your time is really a decision that only you can make; however, my hope is that the things that interest and seem worthwhile to me are the same to someone else.

Bang Design & Promotion

First Order of Business
Tomorrow night is Monday night KARAOKE at Pianos! Only the most entertaining karaoke in town! 8pm - Smartass Rock N Roll Trivia, 10pm - Karaoke Killed the Cat in the upstairs lounge for FREE! My friends all come down on Monday nights for the crazy karaoke and amazing nachos. Not lying guys, best nachos EVER. You should obviously visit the Pianos website to check out all the cool shit we have going on every night and the sweet happy hour specials, but Monday nights is my and my friends' personal favorite. Plus, you get to come say hi to yours truly :)

Secondly
I would like to let you know that I do have a website but it is currently under contruction, so be patient and it will be up shortly. I am always looking for freelance work; whether it be an event poster, website or something else. Let me know...only one more year that I will be a student and be charging really cheap rates.

Finally
I know the shameless self-promotion is out of control for this virgin blog; so I'm going to stop with that and leave you with a small mix for you. This mix is a lot like me: part nostalgia, part classic, always with a dash of edge.
